Installation and controls
The Non-Solar version is hardwired to a wall base. The Solar version requires no mains wiring and has its solar panel on top of the fixture.
For effective solar charging, position the Solar version in direct sunlight. From a full charge, it runs for up to 12 hours at the dimmest setting or approximately 4–5 hours at the brightest setting.
Remote-controlled brightness adjustment is available on the Solar version only. The Non-Solar version is non-dimmable and has no remote.
Outdoor suitability
IP65 protects against dust and rain. The protective finish helps resist rust, but this light is not recommended for coastal or highly corrosive locations. Salt air and spray can deteriorate the finish and cause rust. An IP rating does not measure corrosion resistance.
WHAT IP65 MEANS
This product has a listed IP65 rating.
- 6 indicates protection against dust ingress.
- 5 indicates protection against water jets under specified test conditions.
IP65 does not cover submersion. Follow the product’s installation and maintenance instructions, and check that it is suitable for the intended location.
